J'ai finalement accentué l'aspect brutal du héros en le rendant moins élancé et en augmentant la taille de son menton.

I finally accentuated the brutal aspect of the hero making him less slender and increasing the size of his chin.

Animatique The Smasher

Voici l'animatique de mon travail de fin d'étude. Il s'agit de réaliser un court-métrage, j'ai opté pour un film d'animation traditionnelle.
Etant fan de l'univers des super-héros, je me suis inspiré des séries Batman et Superman, réalisées par Bruce Timm dans les années 90 ; mais aussi des petits films d'animation sur Superman dans les années 40 ainsi que le formidable film de Pixar : Les Indestructibles.
Bref, le titre du film est The Smasher, vous allez comprendre très vite pourquoi :

Here's the animatic for my final student work. The purpose is to direct a short movie, I chose a traditional animated movie.

As a fan of super-hero, I was inspired by the animated series Batman and Superman, directed by Bruce Timm in the 90s ; but also by the short animation movies Superman made in the 40s so is the wonderful Pixar Movie : The Incredibles.

So, the title is The Smasher, you'll get it quick.

Commando : Le Guide Officiel du Film

Pour la troisième année d'étude, il fallait réaliser un livre.

Mon adoration pour le 7e Art m'a conduit à choisir ce monument de testostérone qu'est Commando !

Choisir ce sujet m'a permis de donner une touche décalée à mon bouquin :
For my third year as a student, I had to make a book.
My worship for the 7th Art led me to choose this monument of testosterone called Commando !
Choosing this subject allowed me to bring a touch of humor in my book :

Affiche Journée Portes Ouvertes :

Voici l'affiche que j'ai réalisé pour la journée portes ouvertes de mon école. l'illustration est réalisé à partir d'un dessin fait main puis remanier sous Photoshop. Quand au texte, il est agencé sous Illustator :

Here's the poster I did the open house of my school. The picture is  basically hand drawn then modified on Photoshop. About the texte, it is made on Illustrator.

Voici un court, mais court-métrage que j'ai fait pour dans le cadre de ma première année d'étude. Il s'agissait de promouvoir un festival de musique en environ 30 secondes ou plus. C'était mon premier contact avec la dure réalité de l'animation. Un travail de longue haleine qui peut tantôt se révéler ingrat tantôt se révéler jouissif :

Here's a short movie I did in my first year as a student. The purpose was to promote a music festival in approximately 30 seconds. It was my first contact with the harsh reality of animation. 

A long time process that can sometimes be awkward and sometimes enjoyable.

Compositing Jour/Nuit :

Le but était de faire un compositing animé du jour à la nuit. Un travail méticuleux mais plutôt amusant.

The intention was to make an animated compositing from day to night. A meticulous work but fun.
